Who cut Medicare? That would be Obama

Obama CUT hundreds of BILLIONS from Medicare to pay for Obamacare. The Romney-Ryan plan is the only one that keeps it unchanged for today’s seniors and solvent for tomorrow’s seniors.

  1. Ronald D. Hunt Says:

Obama did not cut one cent from benefits, he cut payments to providers, hospitals, overpayment to Medicare advantage plans, and payments to drug companies.

He also cut money by starting a new fraud prevention program and created a panel to search for more savings.

Obama then plowed most of these savings right back into Medicare,

He closed the drug benefit donut hole.
He provides free preventative care coverage in Medicare.
He plow a chunk of the money into reducing co-pays in Medicare.
And he increased the viability of the Medicare trust fund by 8 years.

    That is Obama care.

You pride yourself on being an online journalist. You seen to be very bright and literate. Please open your mind just a bit and do some research outside the Right Wing “spin machine”. Neither side is 100% right or 100% wrong. The “Truth” lies somewhere in between. Just repeating Romney’s outright lie over and over again, does not make it true.

You’re wasting your breath. The owner of this blog believes in every right wing crackpot cause that exists. In her mind, compromise is weakness and any of our representatives such as Orrin Hatch who occasionally agrees to a “compromise” should be run out of office. She supported Byron Liljenquist even though his campaign was utterly hopeless. He was too much for Utahns who are some of the most conservative people in America. She is vigorously trying to run the last democrat from our state out of the US House of Representatives, so that we can have an entirely 100% conservative republican congressional delegation.

She believes even though the economy was collapsing when Obama took office that he is responsible for all our economic problems. She and those like her actually think you will create jobs if you dramatically slash government spending. There’s no logic there, but an amazing number of people believe this.

I think, deep down, she can’t understand that everyone doesn’t think exactly like this either.

Good luck, trying to change her mind.

Is it really a good idea for Republicans to make this election a referendum on their plan to abolish Medicare, one of the most popular government programs ever?

Not all Americans wish to live in a socialist paradise; they realize the phrase is an oxymoron.
