  1. Richard Warnick Says:

    Romney’s “closing argument” speech omitted any mention of veterans, the U.S. military, the war we’re engaged in in Afghanistan or any other national security issue. But he did threaten that Republicans will try to crash the economy – AGAIN – if President Obama is re-elected.

  2. LL Says:

    But wait – I thought President Obama ENDED all the wars? That’s what he is campaigning on…..

  3. jeromefromlayton Says:

    Richard is talking about Republicans “crashing the economy”. So far, well over 100 House bills are being left to die in the Senate. Harry Reid recently threatened to stifle any of President Romney’s programs, if he is elected. That is a good illustration of crashing an economy. Remember, friends don’t let friends vote Democrat. Especially Senators.

  4. Daniel Burton Says:

    Geez. I just don’t get how half of us were fooled last time around.

    From Wikipedia

    “Revenge is a harmful action against a person or group in response to a grievance, be it real or perceived. It is also called payback, retribution, retaliation or vengeance; it may be characterized as a form of justice, an altruistic action which enforces societal or moral justice aside from the legal system.”

    The right has spent the past four years:

    – Raking Obama over the coals
    – Questioning his legitimacy as president and his U.S. citizenship.
    – Organizing in Congress to block every one of his initiatives;
    -Taking this country to the brink of default to pin it on him;
    – Lying incessantly about his record and accomplishments since the start of the campaign.

    For supporters of President Obama, voting to defeat the Right’s candidate Mitt Romney is in fact the peaceful and democratic means of inflicting payback for all of the above grievances perpetrated by the Republican Party. Voting is a “harmful action” only in terms of the pride and ego of the Republican Party when they lose the election. And yes it will just as sweet under any name.

    One more to add:

    – Suggesting President Obama is not an adult.

    Thanks Holly.

  7. ERIC in Murray Says:

    HEY JBT – President Cry-BABY is ONE AND DONE.
    Repeat after me…. PRESIDENT ROMNEY.

  8. jbtalcott Says:

    Barack Obama is not done. He has a mandate to finish the work that he started. Our country is better off than it was four years ago, and four years from now it will be better still.

    Our troops will be out of Afghanistan, most of the provisions of the Affordable Care Act will go into effect providing millions of Americans with health care who couldn’t otherwise afford it, and banking and wall street regulations will be in place to protect Americans from the greedy, self-serving practices that took our nation to the brink of depression.

    Millions of women will continue to get affordable preventative health care services and contraceptives from Planned Parenthood, the Supreme Court will not be pushed further to the extreme right giving us more decisions like “Citizen’s United”, and college students will continue to get Pell Grants and loans at affordable rates.

  9. trichawintr Says:

    President Obama showed that he has a heart and compassion for people. The biggest problem is that people have to start accepting the fact that Obama is the right person for the job.
